Meniscus root tear define as tear within 1 cm. of the meniscus root insertion. The injury change joint loading resulting in joint overload and degenerative change of the knee. Several techniques have been described to repair the meniscus root tear, but There are still conflict report on the surgical treatment and how can prevent osteoarthritis.
Modified suture bridged technique is the new technique to improve the strength of suture construct and more area of coverage. We have the biomechanics test compare this technique with double cinch loop and modified Mason-Allen method. The biomechanics test show that Modified suture bridged technique has the highest load to failure and highest contact area.
